Scope of Services We offer tailored trips throughout Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Uruguay, such as tour packages, transportation, accommodation, guided tour visits, 24/7 customer support, in 5 languages communication.
Contract Agreement After your booking our customers will receive a contract from AWDS Travel per email, outlining our terms and conditions.
Booking and Payment Terms
Booking Process to make a reservation, you can fill out a form or contact us per email, or directly per WhatsApp and we will call you back in order to go every step of the way, together.
Payment
1st deposit 50% when booking, balance within 90 days prior to departure.
Currency We accept dollars, euros and Chilean pesos.
Payment Methods We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers.
Changes to Bookings
Modification of Reservations
Over or more than 30 days before departure: 40%
30 days or less before departure: 100%
Agency Changes
Cancellation Policies
Customer Cancellations
No Shows do not give rise to any reimbursement.
Cancellations must be sent to AWDS Travel by email to latinamerica@awdstravel.com and will only be taken into account from the day of receipt of it. We will send you an acknowledgment email.
In case of cancellations and/or trip modifications, AWDS Travel reserves the right to apply the following fees:
Over or more than 30 days before departure: 40%
30 days or less before departure: 100%
A customer’s modification during the trip or the renunciation of any already paid services, will not be subject to reimbursement.
Agency Policy
AWDS Travel will not be held responsible for:
Failure to register or check ins/outs.
Failure to present identification, health documents, expired documents.
Refund Policy
Cancellations of Air Tickets AWDS Travel reserves the right to apply the following fees:
More than 30 days: 40%
30 days or less: 100%
Tour or Package Specific Terms
Itinerary A description of your travel package or tour itinerary, including dates, locations, inclusions/exclusions, meals, transportation, accommodations will be sent to you by email.
Availability Services are subject to availability and may change based on factors such as local conditions, weather, or availability of suppliers. We will inform our customers promptly
Special Requests
We are happy to attend to your special requests (e.g. dietary restrictions) within maximum 30 days prior to departure.
Travel Insurance
Requirement We, at AWDS Travel highly recommend our customers to purchase travel insurance (e.g. for medical emergencies, cancellations, lost luggage).
Insurance Coverage Our customers are responsible for their own insurance coverage. We can advise however and guide which one
Liability and Responsibility
Agency Liability AWDS Travel reserves the right due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to accidents, delays, or third-party supplier issues.
Customer Responsibilities: It is our customers responsibility, for complying with local laws, having valid passports and visas and obtaining necessary vaccinations.
Force Majeure: Chile Best Contact SpA is not liable for situations beyond its control (e.g. natural disasters, strikes, or political unrest).
Travel Documents
Passports and Visas We will make sure our customers will be provided with all necessary information about travel documents, visas, passports, and other entry requirements.
Health and Safety We kindly ask our customers to comply with the health and safety regulations, as it is our customer’s duty to comply with local guidelines, such as vaccinations or health certifications.
Conduct During the Trip
Behavior and Code of Conduct We kindly ask our customers to respect other travelers, tour guides, flora, fauna, local customs, among others, having an acceptable behavior during tours, please. Should you have a problem, please do tell us as soon as possible. Thank you.
Consequences of Misbehavior If a customer behaves inappropriately, AWDS Travel reserves the right to a potentially expulsion from the tour or travel group.
Dispute Resolution
Conflict Resolution Disputes will be handled and resolved through arbitration in Chilean courts.
Jurisdiction The legal jurisdiction will be under the terms and conditions governed in Chile.
Privacy and Data Protection
Personal Information
AWDS Travel respects our customer’s privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.
We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have listed as follows:
Identity Data
Identity Data includes full name, username or similar identifier, marital status, title, date of birth and gender.
Contact Data
Contact Data includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers.
Travel Data
Travel Data includes passport number, identity documents used for domestic travel and/or seaman’s book where applicable.
Financial Data
Financial Data includes payment card details, bank account or any data that is required to process financial transactions.
Transactional Data
Transactional Data includes details of products and services you have purchased from us including details about payments to and from you and other.
Profile Data
Profile Data includes your username and password, purchases or travel bookings made by you, preferences related to service provisions including on Airline, Hotels etc., feedback and survey responses.
Marketing & Communications Data
Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences. This will include your contact data.
Statistical Data
We also collate and share aggregated data such as statistical data for reporting purposes. Such data is derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your travel data for Management Information Reports. However, if we combine or connect aggregated data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this privacy notice.
Special Category Data
We do collect special categories of Personal Data about you which includes details about your health and religion for purposes for defining services such as meal preference.
Consent for Communication We kindly ask our customer’s consent to receiving marketing information or updates from our agency.
Special Requirements and Accessibility
Special Needs Our aim is to accommodate to our customer’s special requirements among others (e.g. mobility issues, dietary restrictions). We are open to hear and help you having the travel you have always wanted, wished, dreamed of.
